Unlike traditional automotive bulbs, Auto hid lights do not use a filament bulb. It comes from a technology that not at all uses filament. It produces light from a high pressure vaporized gas which is passed through highly charged electrodes, that’s the reason the HID lights are far brighter, crystal clear, and long ranged lights.
How does it work :
When the car auto lights are switched on a 12v is being distributed through the coil which is connected to a relay. It then turns on the ballasts that ignites and provides current to the bulbs and the light is projected through the head lamps.
